FAQ On Goal-Setting Exercise

Some students have asked for examples on the question: "Now, rewrite each doubt in a positive way. Reframe each one so that it’s empowering."

Here you go!

Let’s say a doubt was “I’m worried that nobody will read my book.”

You could rewrite it as one of the following:

  • ”Even if only one person reads my book and benefits from it, writing my book was worthwhile.”
  • “I’m worried that nobody will read my book — because I care deeply about my readers and want to help them. So I will try my best and write it anyway.”
  • “I’m worried that nobody will read my book — but if I didn’t write it at all, then I’d be guaranteed to have nobody read my writing. I’d rather try and be proud of my effort, than give up without trying.”
